The Promotions module is an optional module that allows you to handle the more complex methods of promoting your products and business. All items are grouped into promotions. All items that belong to the same promotion, contribute to the reward. Each type of promotion has an option of a promotion rule and/or a reward rule. This module interacts with the inventory, suppliers, customers, point of sale (invoice), units and account receivable modules.
The function must be enabled in the Setup Wizard before the menu appears on the main Navigator menu (see Promotions - setup and configuration for information).
To access the Promotions module, use the following Navigator path:

Clicking Promotions opens the Promotions List window where you can view, add, edit or delete promotions. The add and edit function opens the Promotion Details window where you specify the promotion details/rules, options and indicate involvement of specific inventory items, suppliers, brands and/or categories of inventory.

You can add, edit or delete promotions.

Note 1: All items that have the same promotion number contribute to that promotion.
Note 2: For any quantity based promotions where on a single invoice the total net quantity of all items in the same promotion equals zero, no promotional rewards will be applied for that promotion.
Note 3: There is no limit to the number of inventory items that belong to a given promotion and suppliers, brands and categories can also be attached to a promotion.
