Add, edit, or delete promotions

Topic overview

The Promotions module is an optional module that allows you to handles the more complex methods of promoting your products and business. All items are grouped into promotions. All items that belong to the same promotion, contribute to the reward. Each type of promotion has an option of a promotion rule and/or a reward rule. You can add, edit and delete promotions. The menu item does not appear until the module has been enabled and set up.

Instructions

1. Click the Promotions item in Navigator menu. The Promotion List window appears, as shown in Figure 1.

2. To add a promotion, click [Add Promotion] to open the Promotion Details window, shown in Figure 2, where you define the promotion. Once complete, click [Exit] to close the window and return to the Promotions List window shown in Figure 1.

See the following for specific information required in this window to set up the following:

• Promotions
• Rewards
• Builders Club

Promotion rules and Reward rules can be mixed and matched. See supported rule combinations and limitations.

3. To edit a promotion, highlight it in the list and click [Edit] to open the Promotion Details window, shown in Figure 2, where you edit the promotion details.
4. To delete a promotion, highlight it in the list and click [Delete].

Note: Once a Promotion has been used on an invoice, it can no longer be deleted from the system. This is to maintain the integrity of the invoice information.

5. Click the [Exit] button to close the Promotion List window.
