Units command

Units or whole goods can be owned by your company as inventory and then sold to the customer, and even transferred from customer to customer. Units can also be items that are owned by customers that your company services and can track. Some examples are cars, recreational vehicles and heavy-duty equipment or other items such as computers, air conditioners, appliances, etc. See Setup Wizard - Unit / Vehicle Options for more information about units setup and configuration. See Customer Details window - Units tab (associating a unit to a customer), attach a unit to a customer invoice and Units to view information about adding, selling and servicing customer units.

Additionally, see Inventory Details window - Units tab (associating a particular unit to an inventory item), Rentals module to view information about units you can rent to customers.

From the Customer Details window, a list of the units owned by the customer can be viewed by clicking on the tab. System Five keep track of any invoices and parts and labor used for servicing the units over time.
