When a supplier record is selected in the Results listing, this button opens the record in the Supplier Details window and closes the Find Supplier window. |
[Cancel] |
This button closes the Find Supplier window without making a selection. |
[Recent] |
This button displays up to the last 50 records added. (If less than 50 records exits, then all records are displayed in the Results listing) |
[Edit] |
When a supplier record is selected in the Results listing, this button opens the record in the Supplier Details window, but leaves the Find Supplier window open. This saves time if you need to edit a series of supplier records that all match a specific set of criteria. |
[New] |
This button creates a new supplier record and open it in the Supplier Details window. Supplier routines allow a user without edit permissions to add new records. |
[Delete] |
This button deletes the currently selected supplier record. |
[Clear] |
This button clears the criteria boxes and close the Find Supplier window. If the Find Supplier window is displayed by a Supplier selection box in another window, then the [Clear] button clears any value in the Supplier selection box. |
[Print] |
Prints the Results listing. |
If you have Pervasive.SQL enabled, you have the ability to search within a field by using a % sign prefixing your search criteria. For example, if you want to find a supplier by typing 'Parmley Place' in the address field, click in the address field and type: '%parmley place'. This then searches the address field in your supplier database for any instance of Parmley Place and return the matching records in the Results Listing
