In order to have the Rental Module consider rental items placed on estimates to be 'reserved', the invoice sub-type must be speciifed in the Rentals page. The invoice sub-type does not need to be setup prior to entering the value. The rental estimate sub-type setup is shown in Figure 1.

In the example shown in Figure 1, the letter 'E' has been entered. You can now create rental estimate type invoices of the sub-type 'E' and the items placed on these special estimates are considered 'reserved' by the Rental Module.
Note: Estimates not using the Reserved Invoice Sub Type only work properly by using the dates on the Rental Times tab of the invoice screen.
