Rental Out and Returned times consist of a date and a time combination, as shown in Figure 1, which is based on the Rental Time Entry option setting.

Setting the Date |
Click on word 'Date' or double click in the date field to display the Select a Date window as shown in Figure 2.
Use the mouse of the up/down and right/left arrow keys to select the desired date. Note that the Date can also be manually entered. |

Setting The Time |
The spin button will spin the hours, minutes or seconds up and down or flip between AM and PM. The keyboard can also be used by first clicking or tabbing into the time field and then using the left/right keys to move the cursor sideways. Once the time field has focus, the up/down keys will perform the same function as the spin button. The value can also be typed in manually, but the time field will not allow an invalid time to be entered. Note that the Rental Time Entry option is None, then the time cannot be changed and will always be 12:00:00 PM. |
