Data Load menu

The Data Load function is used for importing data or updating existing data. It is often used for the following:

• Start-up of new customer, supplier, and inventory databases
• Supplier part price updates
• Stock Counts

To access Data Load, select either of the following menu paths:

Setup Tools > Configuration > Data Load

or

Inventory and Purchases > Data Load

Enter Items in List

This is used for loading parts from a spreadsheet.

Fast Stock Entry

This method of stock counting has been replaced by Inventory and Purchases> Physical Inventory Count.

Part Load

This function is used for importing parts from an external database. The database must be one of the following: Dbase, Fox Pro, Access, CSV (comma separated values), Tab delimited, fixed width.
