View all rental conflicts

The Rentals window - Conflicts tab displays a list of all the items that are in conflict in Conflicts Only and Invoice Details modes, as shown in Figure 2 & 3. You can then manage options to fill bookings. You can select a date range, a view option and list of parts to view the conflicts for and print the report.

To view the Conflicts report select the Rentals > Conflicts from the Navigator menu. When accessed from the Navigator menu, the grid list is blank until you click [Show], however, switching tabs loads the data for that tab automatically.

Select date

In upper right portion of the Conflicts tab, you can select the Date you want to view. Double-click on the date text boxes or click the Display Conflicts from: or to captions to make a change, and then click [Show] to refresh the display.

Select part to filter on

You can select a single part or a range of parts to report the conflicts on. Only the Show Conflicts Only option is enabled when a part or parts is specified. The Part Selection section is shown in Figure 1.

Click the ellipse button to display the Part Find window. Click the [Clear] button to remove the selected part or parts.

Select view option

The Conflicts tab - Show Conflicts Only mode is shown in Figure 2. In this mode, only invoices containing conflicts are displayed.

The Conflicts tab - Invoice Details mode is shown in Figure 3. In this mode, invoices containing conflicts are displayed in red text, all other invoices are displayed in black text.

If you clear both Show Conflicts Only and Show Invoice Details check boxes, the Conflicts tab lists the items rented out in the selected date range, as shown in Figure 3.

Print the report

Click [Print] to print the report.
