The Rates must be valid for entire rental contract check box on the Rentals page, shown in Figure 1, provides the ability to use only rental rates that are valid throughout the entire contract.

For example, if hourly rates are not valid for every day of the week, and a contract is a week or longer, then the hourly rate is not used at all and the next lowest rate that qualifies will be used.
