The Disable the Sell button for rental items check box on the Rentals page, shown in Figure 1, provides the ability to disable the [Sell] button in the Rental Time In/Out window.

When the [Sell] button is disabled, rental items cannot be sold. The option will be ignored if the login clerk has supervisor override privileges, or enabled on a single invoice when the 'this invoice only' login clerk has supervisor override privileges.
