In the Customer Details window - Lookup Words tab, there are two options: Customer Lookup Words and Customer Contact Lookup Words.
Customer Lookup Words option - associates lookup words with a customer record.
Contact Lookup Word option - associates with the lookup words for a contact in an existing customer record.
Each customer and/or customer contact can have many lookup words. These can be used to search for or report on your customers or customer contacts. For example, if you wanted to print a mailing list to all your customers that were contractors, you could search for customers with the lookup word 'contractor'. However, if you wanted to narrow down that search for plumbers only, you could search for that word.

The use of lookup words is only limited by your imagination. They are very powerful in building a marketing database that can be used to up sell your existing customers or keep track of your leads and prospects.
