The Customer Details window - Invoices tabs displays a list of the customer's invoices and the balances due. To see related purchases this customer made, click the Purchases tab to displays all the purchases, not just the current or outstanding invoices.
You can also choose to view estimates or Ship To invoices (where another customer purchased the goods and shipped to this customer). If you double click on an invoice in the list, the Invoice Details window appears with this invoice details displayed so you can find out what was purchased and even the profitability on the invoice.
Optionally, click the [Include Subsidiaries] button to view invoices from subsidiary accounts and second level subsidiary accounts (subsidiary account of a subsidiary account) to this national account (current customer = black, subsidiary customers = grey). In Figure 1, Brent Poppleton is the national account with Peter Tom as his subsidiary account. Tom has Pauline Desjardin as his subsidiary and can view her invoices but Brent can view his own and the other two account invoices.
The National Subsidiary Accounts feature must be enabled in the Setup Wizard and before you can this link customer record to national or subsidiary customer records and thus view subsidiary invoices. All customer records involved in a national/subsidiary relationship must be of Charge Type "Account" as set on the Financial tab.
