Credit/Debit Card verification Options

Currently with System Five, you can use the following Credit Card Verification programs. If you wish to use a Credit Card Program not listed here, please contact System Five programming department.

The Credit Card Info tab is shown in Figure 1:

The information and settings on this tab apply to all of the processing companies listed above. They relate to how System Five will interact with the peripheral devices and the Credit/Debit card software.

[Use Keyboard Wedge Credit Card Scanner]

This check box must be checked if you are using this style of device for reading the Customer Credit Card information. If you are not sure if your Hardware is of this type, check with your hardware supplier.

[Allow cards without track 1 to swipe]

Most Credit & Debits cards have two tracks of information, the first track contains the Card Holder name along with the Expiry Date and Credit Card Number. The second track contains additional information that is used by the issuing bank and the processing network for security and address verification. Checking this box will allow credit cards to be processed without the first tracks information.

Warning: Your Processor may change a premium rate for processing cards without track 1 information.

[Blank Credit Cards on Printouts]

Anti-fraud and Security legislation in jurisdictions varies from country to country and state to state, therefore System Five offers a number of options for the printout of Credit Card Numbers on Receipts and Reports.

Blank 4 4 of the Credit Card number digits are replaced with x's

Example: 411111xxxx111111

Print 4 All except the last 4 Credit Card Number digits are replaced with x's

Example: xxxxxxxxxxxx1111

Print 5 All except the last 5 Credit Card Number digits are replaced with x's

Example: xxxxxxxxxxx11111
