Create Users, Set Security and Print Labels

Access

The Password reset Options section,as shown in Figure 1, can be accessed via the following Navigator menu path:

Setup Tools > Setup Wizard > Users and Security > Create Users, Set Security and Print Labels.

Topic Overview

A user must have the security option set to create users, set individual security options, and print a single or group of user labels. The User List window shown in Figure 1 appears.

Printing User Labels

To print one user label, highlight the desired user in the list, click the down arrow beside the [Print Labels] button and select the Print Selected User command. Then click [Print Labels] and select the label type from the drop-down list. In the message dialog box select the number of labels you wish to print for this user.

To print the entire user list on labels, click the down arrow beside the [Print Labels] button and select the Print List command. Then click [Print Labels] and select the label type from the drop-down list. In the message dialog box select the number of labels you wish to print for this for each user.

Creating or Editing User Permissions

In the User List window, click [New User] to add a new user (and set security options for each individual) or [Edit User] to change a current employee's status. The User Maintenance window provides complete access to the security levels for various areas of the program, from what the user can do on an invoice to accessing the general ledger.

System Five gives you the administrator the ability to toggle security flags globally on any item under Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Ledger and Inventory tabs; as shown on the the figure below.
