Supervisor Mode is for overriding the system to change things that are incorrect. You need Supervisor Mode Security in Users and Security to turn Supervisor Mode on.
To turn Supervisor Mode on, right click on the status bar at the bottom of the screen.
The popup menu pictured above will appear, click on 'Supervisor Override' to turn the override on. the status bar will change to show the word 'Supervisor' . The background of the panel will change between red and the normal color to remind you that the override mode is turned on.
To turn the Supervisor mode off, simply repeat the process of right click on the status bar.
This time the popup menu will show a check mark to the left of the 'Supervisor Override' text. Left click on the text to turn the mode off. The word 'Supervisor' will disappear from the panel, as pictured below and the color of the background will stop changing.
