The Inventory Details window - Comments Sales Warning/Upsell sub-tab, shown in Figure 1, allows you to add comments intended to convey information to your Sales Clerks; the information in these comments is only ever displayed on screen. What information you choose to enter in this comment is at your discretion, but be aware that this information is displayed on screen and could be viewed by your customers at the Point of Sale terminals, if that setting is selected. The Sales Warning/Upsell comment is optionally displayed based on the settings selected in the Setup Wizard. The settings only have affect if there is a comment present on this tab. The comment can be displayed as the Inventory Part is added to an Invoice (Use Invoice Warning Comments) and/or as the Inventory Part is opened for editing in the Inventory Details window (Use Inventory, Customer, Purchase and Unit Warning Comments).

This comment can be formatted using the Comment Toolbar located at the top of the tab, in the example in Figure 1, the comment has been formatted in Bold and Italics. See: The Comment Toolbar for more information on the use of this tool. The comment is displayed in a special dialog window, based on the specific Settings you have selected. The dialog is shown in Figure 2:

As Figure 2 shows, the formatting of the text in the comment is also used in this dialog.
