Label Designers

Topic overview

System Five's label designers all use a stapndard set of tools to provide you with the ability to create your own labels to print various information in the system. Each of the different types of labels has it's own designer. This enables the system to control what data is available for each type of label. This section of the help refers to the WYSIWYG Label designers only, for information on the rinting of labels using a Barcode printer, see Barcode Label Printing Codes

Access

The Label Designers can be accessed through the following Navigator menu path:

Setup Tools > Printing Options > Form and Label Designers > Label Designers, the menu is shown in Figure 1.

The following topics explain the function of each of the specific label designers included in System Five:

For each of the form and label designer options the <Form/Label> List dialog box appears first so you can either choose to edit an existing design or create a new design. If you choose to create a new design, the New Form dialog box appears for you to create your new design with. If you chose to edit and existing design, once you've made your selection the specific designer window appears for you to make your changes within.
