The Invoice line comments, shown in Figure 1, provides the ability to format line comments for rental items.

Checking all the options will prevent any rental information from being included in line comments. The rental rate information displayed in the Rental Time In/Out window, and in the tool tips while hovering, are uneffected by these settings which only effect the actual printed invoice or work order. Because the line comments are creating when adding or modifying an invoice line, changes to these setting will not effect existing invoices unless they are opened and recalculated. The printing of serial numbers is the only exception.
The function and purpose of each of the options is detailed in Table 1:

Provides the ability to suppress printing all Rental Rate information in invoice comments. This includes Minimum Charge and Rate Totals. |

Do not print Minimum Charge rate in comments |
Provides the ability to suppress printing the Minimum Charge rate in invoice comments. The Minimum Charge rate will only print if one has been established for a rental item. |

Do not print Meter In/Out information in comments |
Provides the ability to suppress printing Meter information with rental units. |

Do not print Rental In and out Dates in comments |
Provides the ability to suppress printing the Date portion of in and out times. |

Do not print Rental In and out Times in comments |
Provides the ability to suppress printing the Time portion of in and out times. |

Do not print Serial Numbers in comments |
Provides the ability to suppress the printing of Serial Numbers for serialized rental items. This option is dynamic and prevents printing the Serial Numbers without resetting existing invoices. |
