Kits Overview

A kit is also known as a 'Bill of Materials' in some other systems. A Kit allows you to sell a single item on an invoice while actually removing multiple items from your Inventory. System Five provides several different types of Kits to meet different needs. Each of the Kit Types is explained in detail along with examples of how they may be used.

The Kits tab in the Inventory Details window is shown in Figure 1.
