Departmental Price Schedules

Each Department can be assigned its own List Price Schedule and Cash Price Schedule. This is useful if each Department has its own prices. As System Five has 100 price schedules (List + 99) you can easily create a price schedule for each Department.

Note: The price schedule of the customer will override the Cash Price Schedule. If this is a problem for you, you would have to use the 'Use Departments for Customers option'.

To set up Departmental Price Schedules (you must have the System Five Department Option), go into the advanced mode of the Setup Wizard and select Departments, Department Price Schedules.

Select the option to use different price schedules for each Department.

Assign a List price schedule and a Cash price schedule for each department.

Use of Departmentalized Rates

This option allows you to create different price schedules for different departments. The use of departmentalized rates is only for cash invoices.

Note: This option will only be available if the departmental inventory is enabled.
