Customer Part Numbers can be assigned to each Customer and Part combination. This is helpful for printing an Invoice using the Customers Part Number rather than using your Inventory Part Numbers. The Customer Part Numbers also support the use of Customer Bin Locations and Ship To information linking. The combination of all of these features makes the Customer Part Numbers quite powerful. The Customer Part Number interface is available from both the Inventory Maintenance window and the Customer Maintenance window. The interface is the same, only the point of view changes.
While editing a Customer in the Customer Maintenance, you can access the Customer Part Numbers tab as shown in Figure 1:
